Esp32 resets after running for a few hours

Hi everyone, I am working on a project to measure temperatures of my fridges, with and esp 32 wroom, connecting to wifi and uploading the reading, the problem is the esp 32 keeps resetting at different intervals, sometimes after an hour, sometimes after a day and a half, the device runs fine if i connect its power supply to a different plug on a different power line. so from what i could find i on some other forums with esp's and motors, this articles has lead me to think the motor is giving feedback into the line that is causing a brownout., please correct me if i am wrong, i have so far looped the power feed to the esp 32 through a lithium battery to try and prevent power drops affecting the esp, but it only runs a little longer and still resets. .moving the device away from the fridges it ran for 2 weeks non stop, without any problems. . i somehow need to protect the esp from the fluctuations, i have read of varistors and surge protectors, and so on but don't know what size or where to put them in the circuit. . .any advice would be greatly appreciated...

That sounds like a classic EMI (Electromagnetic interference) problem which can be conducted, radiated, or both.

That is a lot of area to cover and it is a difficult problem with a lot of sources. Post an annotated schematic of your system showing all connections, power, ground, and power sources. Post links to each of the external hardware devices you are using. Post a picture of the lead dress.

Post a picture of the project and its surround area maybe within a meter/yard in each direction. What are the ambient conditions? What is the power source for the units, is it 3 phase? What is the approximate compressor size?

This will get us started but there may be more.

compressor

Thank you for getting back to me, will add picture of the surrounding area tomorrow, please see attached drawings and picture of the device, its a straight forward esp32 wroop with an ds18b20 temperature sensor, with a 220v to 5v power convertor..
to answer your question, no, nothing is 3 phase, everything is powered from a wall socket running on 220v,
the esp32 device shares the same wall socket as the fridge.
