Ethernet shield with Arduino Mega?

just got my Arduino Mega, yey
After, I think, a thousand LED controlling things I now wanted to do something new.

I thought about the Ethernet Shield, but some people told me that there are some problems using it with the mega.

Is it possible to use it without any hardware modifications?
