How do I reset/download the firmware to my Giga R1 so as to return it to factory image for C++

Try the steps below:
- Add the Arduino Mbed OS Giga Boards (newest version) to Arduino IDE 2 using the Boards Manager.
- Burn the bootloader on GIGA R1 WiFi
- Update Wi-Fi firmware on GIGA R1 WiFi
- Double tap the reset button twice fast (bootloader mode) and uploading a blink LED sketch to the board to reset it.
