Fails to upload

Hi
I am using a wemos with IDE on same PC windows computer I have use for years, fine.
I now cant upload any sketches.
It complies fine but not uploading.
Same problem on different USB ports
done the full rebooting.
tried the lower upload speed.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL has been working fine for years on this computer, it just stopped uploading a sketch I was working on, so I tried examples and they also do not upload.

Failed to connect to ESP8266: Timed out waiting for packet header

P.S. the upload works on a different computer, but I cant use it, other than testing - not mine.
Any suggestion welcome - thanks

Hello! Try this method. :wave:
Since you use windows: :window:
1)Locate esp8266 folder - normaly located at C:\Users\Manu\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages
2)Delete folder named "esp8266"
3)Restart IDE Arduino and install esp8266 board - Tools>Board>Board Manager
4)Download any version of esp8266 :infinity:
5)Compile and upload your code :white_check_mark:
If it didn't work try to download another version of esp8266.Otherwise, reinstall arduino program with right drivers.

Currently I am having to use another PC, to finish my current sketch.
I am looking to getting back to my normal PC, NEXT

Thanks, but all features have worked 100/1000s of times, it has just STOPPED uploading on 1 computer, unless it is an IDE bug to get everyone to update ??
