Hello, I am trying to get my FeatherWing 128x64 OLED display to connect to my Arduino ESP32 Nano. You can view a video of my circuit here: https://youtube.com/shorts/JSpJ3llQQnA and I have attached photos for reference. For some reason, when I plug this circuit into my M1 MacBook Pro to upload a sketch, the board connects and disconnects over and over again. I have tried this with a new cord, a new Arduino ESP32 Nano board, and I have unplugged, replugged, updated the board software, and restarted my computer. I continue to get the same results. Are there more troubleshooting steps you can recommend?
Can you Upload when the display is disconnected ?
Hi, Ben's professor here to chime in to say that we got it working... I can't believe this helped: We had been previously using the Arduino ESP32 boards package only. We installed the espressif esp32 boards package, then selected the Arduino Nano ESP32 through the boards menu esp32 group, not the Arduino esp32 group. Now everything works fine.
