fingerprint sensor with AS608

Hi everybody!

I have a problem with my new bought fingerprint sensor. ( this )

Before this I had one with AS606 processor (worked fine), but this has AS608 (doesn't work). The problem is, that a basic example program like enroll or fingerprint doesn't find the fingerprint sensor. (with AS608).

  1. The pinout is absolutely OK (see on the picture) VIN - 5V, GND - GND, RX - TX, TX - RX.

  2. I think the current and the voltage is enough. (I try more source)

  3. I tried with Arduino UNO and NodeMCU, too.

  4. I tried with HW Serial and with SW Serial, too.

But nothing solved my problem.

Have you got any idea?

I bought the AS608 chip reader too and have the same problem. It is also marked DY50 on a sticker on the back.

I have verified the pinouts on the 6 red wires using an Ohm-meter between the pins and the circuit board (which is marked DY50-MAN V3). Left pin is Gnd, next two are TX/RX, and 4th pin is Vcc.
