How about you take something like saber, Pro E and many other CAD programs and draw a complete wiring harness for a luxury car in one hour. It as does KiCad and most others require a basic understanding of electronics or automotive wiring. As I have stated KiCad is not a single session learning experience. It is like walking you fall a bunch of times while learning, that is why baby's are built close to the ground:-)
