[HELP] FS-MCore-A7670C Module Not Connecting to Network
Hello everyone,
I'm currently working with the FS-MCore-A7670C module (based on the SIM7670C chip), but I’m facing an issue where the module fails to register on the network, even after being powered on for over 30 minutes.
Setup Details:
The module has an inbuilt switch-mode regulator, providing a stable 3.8V output.
I Connected a high-gain 4G-compatible antenna.
I Tried multiple active SIM cards (2G and 4G from different providers) — all tested and working in phones.
Verified proper SIM insertion and voltage stability.
Using hardware serial or SoftwareSerialto send AT commands but get no response from the module.
I connected 1000uf capacitor to the power pin.
The network status LED blinks every 0.5 seconds, which I believe indicates constant searching and failure to register.
My Questions:
- Does the continuous fast-blinking LED definitely indicate the module is faulty?
- Is there a specific power-on sequence or initial AT command I might be missing?
- Could it be a firmware or network band compatibility issue (I’m using Indian SIM cards)?
- Is there any way to confirm if the module is still functional or needs replacement?
