Gas flow project

Hi sir or madam

If any method to find analysing gas flow using arduino?

If you have any examples or code please let me know??

Kindly please reply

What sort of gas?

What sort of analysis?

Have you identified a suitable sensor? if so please post a link to its datasheet.

Sir,

I did a home made ventilator. Instead of gas flow analyzer device, I need a gas flow analyzer using arduino.

Pretend that we do not know what a gas flow analyzer is. Can you post an example of what you want? Or a data sheet or manual for the one that you have?

Or explain, in detail, what data that you want.

Fot find the rate of Both Oxygen and carbon dioxide gas.

How much amount of O2 and Co2 flows from ventilator ?

I need For above mentioned problems

You have not answered the third question from my Reply #1

And unless you can provide details of a suitable sensor I don't see how we can help you. We are programmers, not chemists.

Take a look at the Atmel terms and conditions - their processors are the basis for many Arduinos. One thing they explicitly prohibit is any application concerning life safety. This project would be exactly that I suspect.

From the back of the datasheet: "Use of Microchip devices in life support and/or safety applications is entirely at
the buyer’s risk, and the buyer agrees to defend, indemnify and
hold harmless Microchip from any and all damages, claims,
suits, or expenses resulting from such use."

Oxygen and carbon dioxide sensor using arduino proprogrammes are available or not

MQ135 is a gas sensor, capable of sensing CO2. Pretty well documented too. You would know if you take 2 minutes of GOOGLING "Arduino CO2" BEFORE ASKING.

O2 level is trickier, sensors are not as "easy" to get as something like MQ135. Not well documented, at all.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the post at the start of any forum , entitled "How to use this Forum".

Have you googled arduino environmental gas measurement

Tom...

Dear sir,
I didn't need that for environmental gas I just ask for ventilator inhale and exhale gases measurement or find that rate using aarduino please give me a suitable guidance

neminathan_janapiriyan22:

What do you mean by "that"?

It is always a good idea to quote a little part of the Reply you are responding to.

Dear sir,
That means I asked for ventilator inhale and exhale gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide sensor using arduino programme

neminathan_janapiriyan22:

In that case I would interpret your Reply #11 as follows

I didn't need that ventilator inhale and exhale gases for environmental gas

which does not make any sense to me.

If you are hoping that someone here can suggest a complete solution (hardware and software) for your very unclear requirement then I strongly suspect that won't happen.

This Forum is for helping people with their Arduino projects. For example, if you can identify a suitable gas sensor but the program you have written is not giving the expected results then we may be able to help. But you have to start things by obtaining a suitable sensor and trying to write a program for your Arduino to get data from the sensor.

Sir
Ventilator flow sensor gfs131 using arduino code or any other flow sensor using arduino programme are available

A quick read of the GFS131 data sheet tells me that it is an analog output device. The output is 0.5V to 4.5V for 0 to full scale range. The measurement range seems to be 20 to 300 SLM.

So the sensor would connect to an analog input.

Which sensor have YOU got?

And have you tried writing a program to get data from it?

Hi,

Can you please tell us your electronics, programming, arduino, hardware experience?

Thanks.. Tom...

Sir

I used not much of electronics ,when the ventilator gives the outputs of gas flow in that time I used the sensor for measure the rate.
This is my idea if it is possible or not
