Giving Karma as a Reward

Hi, I'm not quite sure if this is where I should put this post, so forgive me if I placed it in the wrong spot.
My question is whether or not it is okay for me to give people karma as a reward for something. For example, too encourage people to vote on my poll of favorite Arduino board could I say that whoever voted would get a karma? Is that against the forum policies or whatever?

Thanks!

Give whoever you like Karma, No reason why a 'puzzle' can't have a reward of 10 karma. Will just be a pain in the ass to serve as it will take at least 10 hours.

As for your poll, I think the driving factor is interest. Besides, like the saying goes "You don't make friends with salad karma". I do not think a boring topic will catch my interest even if served with a side of karma.

Okay, thanks for letting me know.

Was 'fun' when we had negative karma tho 8)

I thrilled to bits I have 5 Karma points and I only started a couple of days ago!!

Right now, you have zero karma.
Perhaps you're confusing karma with your post count (currently eight)
