I'm projecting a robot to cut the grass.. I was looking at the APM site, but I think that their board aren't enough open source. There is an open source software to create an GPS fence like APM Mission Planner that interfaces with arduino?
There are several open source mission planner packages for Arduino. Google "ardupilot" for one.
Since GPS can be in error by 20 or more meters, or not work at all under some conditions, you must plan on an alternative means of determining the boundary of the property to be mowed.
