I have one idea but i dont know how to realize it as i am new to arduino programing.
I want to build Grass Cutter that will on comand automaticly cut grass in my orchard. It is on my land and it is around 20mx50m big.
Idea is for grass cutter to get to that orchard via gps with some error.
Then there are placed antennas that will be allways in orchard, where Grass Cutter will recive signal and position it self on the 0.0 coordinates and start going with wanted trajectory.
Can i get a help for which antennas are possible to be used for it to work properly???
GPS won’t be sensitive enough , especially around trees and radio positioning very difficult .
These auto mowers usually use a wire around the perimeter of the field and obstacle avoidance cutting grass randomly …..and you could use a wire for it to follow to get to the orchard .
Think about how it will deal with fallen fruit, stop it eating small children and how you will charge it /how long a charge will last .
Not an easy project . If you are new to Arduino you need to get some experience before attempting this and don’t underestimate the hardware required. Look at what you can buy too .
Plant wild flowers and have your orchard in a wild flower meadow .
