Can you help me with schematic please ;
Use the schematic you last posted, replace the two diodes with an NPN transistor.
Arduino drives base via 220 ohm resistor, collector to P-channel gate, emitter to Gnd.
The tle5206-2 is 5A h-bridge chip that might be of interest. They sell for ~$8 but are getting scarce.
I would like to make it home . With little help from Crossroads i think i may complete it ![]()
I believe your top transistors, the IRF9540, are upside down.
You mean i put wrong the G,S,D ;
Yes; S & D are swapped.
Yeah on schematic pic of IRF9540 is wrong but G,D,S are going right. Even if i change D to S and S to D nothing happened.
On started schematic IRF9540 is getting too hot by time without motor moving so i goes it doesnt go to"cut"..
I checked grounds,arduino pins,Vcc with logic analyser all are right..
Dunno whats wrong
I can also try those examples or are not suitable with my needs ; (7.2 V - 5A )

or

As drawn Q2 gate is low (Q2 is on) and Q3 gate is high (Q3 is on).
You want Q4 on instead and Q3 off.
Also, the meter for Q4 is connected with the opposite polarity of the other 3.
Also because IRF540 is a Standard MOSFET vs a Logic Level MOSFET, I don't think it will turn fully on with 5V, it needs 10V. You could put an NPN in front of them similar to the IRF9540's so the gate can go fully High to turn on.
At last!
You'll learn faster if you use paper and pencil and write the words "on" and "off" on
each switch I think! Just need to write "on" on diagonally opposite switches and work
backwards to see what the control line(s) need to be.
I write to paper always before start design on simulator, but i cant find the problem or what i do wrong.
That's why i ask for help here, some people are expert on those circuits
Yes! Oh, that was painful to go thru ![]()
4.5 W on the IRF9540
I will build it and inform that all ok . ANyway thanks for help and advice ![]()
Part has Rds of 0.117 to 0.2Ohm
P= IIR = 55.2 = 5W.
Maybe a lower Rds part, .007 Ohm:
55.007 = 0.175W
Ok working with PWM, now anyone know how to convert it with optocoupler ; I saw circuit to my professor and told me all fine BUT digitan ground and analog ground may damage the mE (something about the high current he told me). Will need some kind of driver , and told me best choise is optocouple
