I remember back in high school (many years ago that 
we created a multivibrator LED, and our biggest project was a 24 hour format digital clock by starting with a blank paper, calculating the numbers in binary etc. I remember I found it absolutely fascinating when the whole thing finally worked after many weeks of working on it.
20 years later here I am again feeling that childish interest and happiness about getting back at it. Its been a while, theres a lot of dust to remove from memory.
