Hardware to control 7 servo motors via pc

Hey there,

I'm working on a project, where i need to control 7 servos via a pc. They're supposed to move a certain amount, when a certain key is pressed on the PC. Software and code are a whole different topic - today i just want to ask about the hardware
What kind of arduino board would be suitable to control servos via a pc? And do i need some kind of extension board to drive 7 small servos?

I'm happy about every starting point ,that you guys could provide!

Cheers,

Julius

Arduino Nano.

no need

Is it powerful enough to provide power for 7 servos? Read a lot of posts, saying it isn't

A lot of people say, it can control 4 but power none

to provide power you need a power supply. Arduino is a control unit.

Alright, got that. But the nano can control 7 servos independently of each other ?
Sorry for the noob questions

Thank you very much, that helps a lot!

Got another small follow up question - already got a powerbrick suitable for my power needs, but what kind of board would i use to connect it to the motors and the arduino respectively? Never mind, thats clearly the wrong board, sorry

yes, this module is useful: it have power socket, no need to soldering.
