Before you rush out and buy new Blueteeth, you might take the time to read post #28 again, and in the above, read "cannot" as "should not". In the likely event that you are still not getting a result, it will be much more likely because you don't know what you are doing and not because you have destroyed Bluetooth.
If you care to check Google images on this stuff, you might see that about half of them do not show the divider.
You might also note that the above-mentioned tutorial is wrong in that the default baud rate for data is 9600 but may be changed while that for AT mode is 38400 - and cannot be changed.
