HC-SR501 not turning LED off

Hello,

I am new to electrical circuits and Arduino. I have been building a few of the circuits that came with my kit and I have been experiencing trouble with the motion sensor. I have searched google and read a few of the posts on here. The majority of the problems are resolved by switching the VCC and the ground, or by changing the pot settings. I have done both these things without any luck. Additionally, I have tried using different jumper wires, LEDs, and another motion sensor.

I have uploaded a few pictures of my breadboard, along with the link to the website I used to build this.

HC-SR501 works quite good. Use multimeter to check out the voltages on OUT Pin of your sensor. It has some delays as well. It's better to use Arduino and then control LED.

Thank you! I will try this. However, if the output continuously reads 3.3v then it would be broken right? At the very least, the light should be blinking with the time delay pot sensor all the way down (counterclockwise)?
