Help about rgb control

I have very little knowledge about arduino and electronics generally. I have 5v addressable rgb fans and they are controlled by its own box.

You can connect the box to motherboard if motherboard has 5v argb port and press the mb sync button to control lights but my motherboard doesn't have that.

So i tought if i can plug ardunio to my computer and box's sync cable to ardunio and program it. Vdg cable is for gigabyte motherboards and only D(data) cable is conected. Control box is plugged to pc power supply unit via molex cable do i need to ground ardunio too ?

System will look like this is this doable ?

Make sure images are visible inside the post. People do not like to download stuff if not necessary. You need to modify the post after you uploaded the images so you can embed the link and the image will appear inside the post.

Also structure your post so people can see what you have done and what questions you have. There are many helpful people here, but they help faster and more often when the questions are clear and necessary information is available e.g. by using code tags, linking data sheets, embedding images, clear subject line ...

The Arduino can easily be used to replicate IR remote controller signals, using the IRRemote library, and could also replicate signals on a 5V control cable.

The latter requires careful study of the device documentation and advanced programming skills.

Did you bother Googling?

I was thinking using fastled library since arduino acts like motherboard i don't need remote. Can i use fastled

What would you use "fastled" for?

To control lights of fans and maybe i can add ws2812b led strips later

Maybe the following video could be useful for you. Its almost an hour long but seems to have a lot of information about ARGB and Arduino.
