Hello. I need a way to install ch340 drivers on my chromebook without using a Linux emulator. I have recently purchased a cheap arduino clone and want to use it with my chromebook.
Chromebooks typically do not support the installation of traditional drivers
Yeah I know, I was just curious as to if it was possible.
nope - check this for alternative with a supported board

Thanks!
For a quick solution: https://duino.app
My CH340 problems were solved.
Then I discovered that they had multiple libraries for things that the Arduino required me to find and add on my own.
I'd still like to get back to the Cloud Editor, but not at the expense of having to work in two different environments, depending on the board.
