hi,
im a final year fashion student and i want my collection to embody electronic textiles such as LEDS and responsive fabric. i have had no prior training in this field and have an extremely basic knowledge of electronics. i need help. can anyone suggest how i would get started? any good websites or practitioneers i could look at? i have researched Leah Buechley's lily pad technology, is it possible to recreate this yourself or would you have to buy one of her kits?

You do not have to buy a kit. But I would recommend it for someone getting started.
