Help Needed: Water Pump Project Issue

I hope this message finds you well. I'm currently working on a water controller project for irrigation using an ESP32, a 2-channel relay module, two 12V pumps, and a 24V power supply.

During the initial test, everything was functioning as expected, with the pump responding appropriately to the relay. However, after the first successful test, the pump has ceased to function despite the relay appearing to be in normal working order.

I'm reaching out to seek assistance in resolving this issue. Could you kindly provide insights or suggestions on how to troubleshoot and fix this problem? I appreciate any guidance or advice you can offer.

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

I used same schematic in this picture:

Additionally, here are the specifications for the DC 12V Mini Submersible Water Pump that I'm using:

Brand: MOUNTAIN_ARK
Color: Black
Material: Plastic
Style: Submersible Water Pump
Product Dimensions: 2.13"L x 2.13"W x 1.65"H
Power Source: DC
Item Weight: 2.82 Ounces
Maximum Flow Rate: 1.06 Gallons Per Minute
Maximum Lifting Height: 3 Meters
Voltage: 12 Volts

Any guidance or advice you can offer would be immensely helpful. Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

Best regards,
LEO

You should use a multimeter or another way to verify that the relay is working correctly. If so, it can be ruled out that the relay, a connection or the esp is the fault. In the messages you indicate that the source is 24v and the pump is 12v. So what can really happen is that the pump has burned out due to exceeding its operating voltage.

The esp 32 and relay 2 channel still working, what are the things I need or to do for me to be able to not burned my pump? Thank you so much I appreciate your help ^^.

Use 12 volt power supply for the 12 volt pump.

Can the 12V power supply run two of my 12V pumps? I initially thought I needed to double the power supply, which is why I opted for the 24V power supply. Thank you so much for helping me ^^.

Please post the pump technical data.

already posted, thank you.

Not the figures for current. What's the stall current?

Can you please tell us your electronics, programming, arduino, hardware experience?

Do you understand parallel and series circuits?

Thanks.. Tom... :grinning: :+1: :coffee: :australia:
