You should consider editing this and censoring your WiFi credentials.

You have a copy of these libraries in your Documents\Arduino\Library as well as installed through the library manager?

thank you!

im not entirely sure, we never wrote the code, we just built the lighting rig and had someone else do the software but hes un reachable just now so were just trying to work out why it wont upload

Excellent, but you missed the second quotation for your wifi password. If you add it it will fix the rest of the code in the upload.

I see a couple of problems. You seem to be using ESP8266 V3.0.0 and the latest is 3.0.2. Update with Tools -> Board: -> Boards Manager...

You also have some duplicated libraries:

Multiple libraries were found for "ESP8266WiFi.h"
 Used: C:\Users\allan\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\esp8266\hardware\esp8266\3.0.0\libraries\ESP8266WiFi
 Not used: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\ESP8266WiFi

Multiple libraries were found for "ESP_Mail_Client.h"
 Used: C:\Users\allan\Documents\Arduino\libraries\ESP_Mail_Client
 Not used: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\ESP-Mail-Client-master

Multiple libraries were found for "SD.h"
 Used: C:\Users\allan\AppData\Local\Arduino15\packages\esp8266\hardware\esp8266\3.0.0\libraries\SD
 Not used: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\SD

The one in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\ESP-Mail-Client-master" should never have been put there. You already have a copy in the proper place (your 3rd-party libraries folder: "C:\Users\allan\Documents\Arduino\libraries"). You should delete the one under "C:\Program Files".

Same for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\ESP8266WiFi". There is already one in your ESP8266 install so just delete the one under "C:\Program Files".
