Hello. I want to use a high pressure sensor to do some Pipes burst test. But the most of sensors i found are just for 0-250Kpa (2.5 bar) like mpx ... . but i want over 100 Bar.
Can anyone help me
The highest pressure I've seen at a reasonable price are:
I bought these from Aliexpress and have not used them yet. This pressure range is fine for my intended SCUBA diving thingy.
Higher pressure devices are significantly more expensive!
just google for "100 bar pressure sensor". Prices are a bit on the higher side.
Thank you for your suggestion but i need at least 9 Bar (900 KPa ) to burst the turbo hose. And more than that to burst the radiator hose.
i did it but i didn't found a sensor with higher pressure and support arduino.
These 2000 psi Omega pressure sensors will work with Arduino, either 5V or 4-20 mA. Other pressure ranges are of course available.
I've been using Omega pressure sensors for years. They are extremely reliable.
Did you use it with arduino before ?
I'm using them right now with Arduino.
It is not a problem to interface any 5V or 4-20mA sensor with Arduino.
Can i have your ig or something to contact you if it's possible
No, keep this discussion on the forum.
This one supports 100 bars.
My experience with high pressure hoses shows the problems will be the pipe connections at the ends of the hoses, never the hose.
I didn't understand good
is it only for water pressure ? or for air too
Your hose has terminations at each end for the connection to your equipment. Those terminations always create a weak place where they make a connection to the flexible hose. That will be the point where the pressure in the hose will develop a leak or rupture.
These type of sensors come in a range up to 10MPa (100 bar).
They can work with any 5volt logic Arduino.
The 1.2Mpa (12bar) sensor seems popular.
Leo..
Thank you bro
