Hello all,
I'm trying to control 4 solenoid valves with an arduino board. The valves are 12v, and the Arduino output is 5V, so I needed something that I can connect 12v power to, and give it a 5v signal to control the valves. I found this relay board, which seems exactly like what I need.
As you can see from the picture, I have 12V (red) Ground (black x2, one to the 12v, one to the arduino GND) and three PMW inputs. The trouble is, when I look at the connections on the other side of the board I get nothing. No 12V signal, and no 5V signal either. I can confirm that the input ports are getting a signal (both 12V and 5v, depending on the terminal. Tested with a meter).
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to connect this board and it's driving me bananas!
Any ideas?

If I am reading and understanding you correctly, the 12v red wire is in the wrong place. In fact, you may have damaged the board. That red wire should be going to the 5v pin on your Arduino.
VCC - to 5v on Arduino
GND - to GND on Arduino
IN1 through IN4 to Arduino pins 2 to 13
The 12v needs to be powering the solenoids on the other side of that board.
Yay! That works. I had to redo the connections on the output side several times until I figured out which way is ground (I know, I know...) but when it was finally correct I could actually see voltage on the other side and the leds on the board lit up as promised. Thank you!
Hi,
Where did you get the PCB assembly from?

You necro'd a 3 year old post from someone who only posted twice ever. Try PM'ing them instead.
Hi,
Do a google image search of this;
