How to connect FS-i6 controller to a Arduino flight controller using Multiwii

Hi guys, first time using the forums.

Ok, so right now I am trying to make a custom drone using an Arduino Nano and Multiwii.

I have already finished the flight controller and checked that it is working properly.

However, I cannot seem to connect my controller to the flight controller. I tried by connecting my FS-iA6 2.4GHz 6-channels receiver directly to my Arduino Nano corresponding to the relevant digital pins and test it out in the simulation but I could not get any signal reading from the controller.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Hope to hear from you guys soon.

Your description of the problem is a bit incoherent. The word "controller" appears in several contexts and it's not clear if the Nano is part of a controller or separate, and if it is part of a controller then which controller is it part of.

Put more simply, what is the Nano intended to do?

Posting your program and a wiring diagram would also be a great idea.

I am mainly using the Arduino Nano as a flight controller. I did so by wiring an MPU-6050 gyroscope and a BMP-180 barometer to the Arduino and got it working properly.

So my next step is to use a remote controller and connect it to the Arduino to see if I can control the throttle and directions in the MultiWii simulation. However, I could not get any feedback. I wired the FS-iA6 receiver to the Arduino with the corresponding throttle, yaw, pitch, roll signals and just tried controlling from my FS-i6 remote controller but could not get any readings.

How do I go about doing this?

I will also post some photos as you said for reference.

Thanks in advance

Sorry, but a photo of your hardware is not a substitute for a wiring diagram. It is much too easy to misunderstand photos of wiring. Also, it is impossible to read the pin labels. A photo of a simple pencil drawing will be best.

Your diagram should also show how the RC receiver is connected to the Nano.

And you have not posted your program.
