How to control a solenoid valve? (Unusual Solenoid)

What is gained when things work poorly or don't work at all?

Fire

Like this?

Certainly not!

Looks like ChatCPT generated crap?

Looks like you don't know how to follow a schematic and relay operations

Yellow and cyan showing open circuits in state 1.

State 2

Looks like you invented relays whose coils are powered by diodes and switched by telepathy?

I was referring to jim-p on how to use two relays. OP already knows how to trigger a relay so that doesn't need to be shown.

No.

I'm back. I tried using the 2-relay thing for my weird solenoid valve but nothing. The script turned on the relay 2 and turned off the relay 1 and reverse after 3 seconds. Instead of trying everything to get this thing working, I would just buy a regular solenoid valve that just works. You supply power, it opens and when you don't it closes. What do you think?

Best idea yet

Edit: you were referring to the OP when you said "No", never mind.

Besides the SPST being a SPDT, which doesn't really make a difference, how is this not what you were inferring?

Now I know this going to be off topic but what if the solenoid valve doesn't fit in the faucet?

I do think that would be the easiest, cleanest, and most reliable.

Then you provide pictures, measurements, etc.

If the solenoid valve (not the weird one I have) is going to be just like a regular solenoid valve, I would use one relay/transistor and I'm ready to go. No H bridges, 2-relay circuits and other stuff. (That's what I think is gonna happen I'm not sure)

I think we now need a plumber to join he forum

And a flyback diode

Haha sorry. :frowning:

I have diodes that do work
