How to correctly upgrade the OpenWrt-Yun on the Arduino Yún

Hi everyone,

I want to upgrade OpenWrt-Yun image on the Yún. At this link it is written that if you have a Yún with an older firmware than 1.5.3 you need to update the bootloader first.
Under Frimware version my board says OpenWRTYun Attitude Adjustment 1 / LuCI 0.11 Branch (0.11+svn9964).
My problem is that on the page for the bootloader upgrade (here) it is written:

WARNING
Following this guide will VOID the WARRANTY of your Yún

So now I am confused on how I can upgrade my board without bricking it or voiding the warranty.

Thank you

So do you mean that the firmware downloadable from arduino.cc cannot be considered original?
It sounds a bit weird to me.

I think I accidentally upgraded the new OpenWrt-Yun image without upgrading the bootloader, so now my device's wifi is off, ethernet seems to be down too, only reads scripts through usb... how can I unbrick it?

Help please!

Do I have to get a new one?
