How to find out the reason why a project on the HUB is published or not

Hello,
Some time ago I made a first project that was published within a few days.
Some time later I did the same, but this time the project does not get published (as far as I can see) until know.
Is there any way to find out whether the project is not published because the moderators need more time, because there is some technical problem or because I have violated some rules?
I must say it took me quite some time to make video's and descriptions so I think some feedback could motivate me to keep on doing this.

Second question: my login on the hub is 1793315 is there any way to change it to JOHI ?

Link to demo.

Johi.

Hi @JOHI. Thanks for your contributions to the Arduino Project Hub!

I am able to see two projects here:
https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/user1793315
I see that the project has two team members: "user1793315" and "Johi", so it looks like you do have a account of that name on Project Hub. My arduino.cc account is also used on Project Hub, with my user name. The somewhat tricky thing when I first used Project Hub is that it is powered by hackster.io, so I remember there was a process of being assigned a hackster.io account in order to use Project Hub.

There is a review process for the Arduino Project Hub projects. So it is definitely possible that you would experience varying delays in the projects being published, or even not having a project published at all. Every project is published on hackster.io though. Congratulations on your projects passing the review and making it into the Arduino Project Hub!

Hello pert,
Thanks for your answer, but my question remains on the table:
I waited for the maintenance on the Project hub (the search function was blocked) and today it is available again.
Therefore I did a search for JOHI on the hub and only one of my projects appeared.
Therefore my question about the transparency and the feedback remains on the table: do I need to wait, is there something wrong, is there a rule I violated?
It would be nice if I could contact some party that could give some feedback.
Best Regards,
Johi.

JOHI:
Therefore I did a search for JOHI on the hub and only one of my projects appeared.

That's because you are using your user1793315 account. There you will find two projects:
https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/user1793315
Under the Johi account, only one:
https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/johi

So it looks to me that the problem is really about you getting your multiple accounts mixed up with each other.

That's because you are using your user1793315 account. There you will find two projects:
user1793315 | Arduino Project Hub
Under the Johi account, only one:
Arduino Project Hub

Ok, that part is clear, 2 projects under user1793315, 1 project under Johi, mixup of accounts, clear, thank you for that, will correct this if I can.

However:

  • using the search field on the hub ("user1793315"): 1 project for user1793315 => 1 project
  • using the search field on the hub ("johi"): the same one project, second is not visible (obvious ~ as you explained).
  • using the search field on the hub ("dosing peristaltic pump"): the second project called "Dosing peristaltic pump (..)" is not found.

So apart from the correct analysis you made, for me the second project seems still not published or available to the public (apart from the link) and I still do not know why.

So for the moment I am afraid I remain with my conclusion: it seems as if it is not published properly and I do not know why or who to address. I know that if you are not confirming to hub directives you risk not being published publicly. But, as you can understand, I want to know if this is the case or not and why so I can adapt in the future (or use other channels apart from the hub if more appropriate). But a proper decision is made on facts, and today they are not on the table so I cannot decide what to do.

Best regards,
Johi.

JOHI:

  • using the search field on the hub ("dosing peristaltic pump"): the second project called "Dosing peristaltic pump (..)" is not found.

I am getting the same results. I do see that it shows up in the hackster.io search results:
Hackster.io - The community dedicated to learning hardware.

Unfortunately, I don't have any answers for you. I do know that we have just been through the Easter holiday, which is especially important and extended in Italy, where Arduino is based. This might result in the review process taking longer than usual, but I don't have any idea of how long the review period is normally.
