Why resurrect a year old thread with wrong information?
The OP talked about needing 2A and you specify components with a maximum rating of 1A, both the regulator and the diode.
Hi all,
Has somebody found a solution for this? Would be great to share the knowledge! Iām still struggling to bring the SIM module to work properly from a 5V/2.5A Source.
Tried the LM2596 and LM317t already, but doesnāt seem to work for me. Iām not that much into electronics to understand the ti-datasheet mentioned before completely and build the whole cap-thing from scratch.
Your help is very appreciated!!
