How to Program RFID RC522 send ID to Microsoft Visual Basic Programming ?

hi, I have some question about how to program the RFID RC522 that connected to the arduino uno, then when the RFID card are scanning, it will showing the Result/output for the ID number to Visual Basic Programming. Anyone can solve my problem? any suggestion? Thanks

Start by reading Arduino Playground - MFRC522
Read tags and print the details to the Serial monitor using the sample program.

Write a VB program to read the data from the serial interface.

thanks for the suggestion, actually i needed the VB will read the serialPort arduino and also read the RFID tag and showing to the VB.

do you know program code for visual basic programming that read the data from the RFID and arduino? that i needed to give some output from VB. thank your
