How to run Nucleo IHM01A1 with an Arduino Uno

Hey there,

I am new to this forum and new to the microcontroller world. I hope somebody can help my with my problem.

I have an Arduino Uno Rev3 Microcontroller with an Arduino Ethernet shield and a Nucleo IHM01a1 Stepper Motor Driver. My project is to run one stepper motor over ethernet. I just need to run the stepper with 100 or 200 rpm. So no fancy things. I found a lot of codes to run the arduino motor shield but I have no idea how to run it with Nucleo. Do I have to use any libraries or can I just adress 4 pins on the Nucleo? I am using the Arduino Developer Kit 1.0.6.

Thank you very much Kind regards Harry

Hi, I have just added into github a library that can be used with the Arduino Uno Rev3 and X-NUCLEO-IHM01A1 stepper motor shields. It allows to drive up to three stepper motors provided to have one X-NUCLEO-IHM01A1 shield by motor.

The github repository is here: https://github.com/MotorDriver/L6474

You will find some sketch examples for different configurations (one, two or three motors...). More details are also provided in the readme.md of the repository.

Hoping that it is not too late for your project!
