How To Set Up SIM808 EVB Version 3.2 With Arduino Uno

I'm very new to Arduino

I'm unable to interface the SIM808 shield with Arduino Uno. I get this error when I try to run a check on the module.

ERROR: SIM900 doesn't answer. Check power and serial pins in GSM.cpp

I don't understand what the above information means. I have a SIM Card Inserted but only the power led is on.

I'm aware the library I'm using supports SIM808

How do it connect the module to the Arduino (This is the most important thing to me)

How do I test to see if the GPS, GSM and GPRS is working?
