How to use lm2596 with a esp32 on a pcb

Hi i am creating a pcb with easyeda with a barrel jack to connect a 12v power supply an esp32 and a push button but i did not able to find a tutorial to add the lm2596 or something similar to down the power to 5v and i try to find the component on easyeda and appears a lot of the same component and i dont know wich one is the one i need
Any suggestion how to make my pcb

It doesn't have to be the exact model, you can pick one where the fingerprint matches, then pay attention to the pin numbers.

Have a look at the data sheet for the 2596 - it has examples and equations to set component values .

You can make the PCB hole positions using a via.
I can only see modules on easyada, so you might need to make the part ??

Hi, @cuasitos
Please read the application notes for the 2596, component placement and ground plane layout is extremely important to efficient and reliable operation.

The layout of the PCB is critical for correct operation of an LM2596.

The ESP32 requires 3.3V so maybe you should re-think this project.

The LM2596 is a family of devices.
There are 3.3-V, 5-V, 12-V, and adjustable output versions.

in this case i have to make from scratch the entire module? because online i saw many but because i want to make everithing solder at the factory i can bought that ones
