I connected 5v to 3.3V pin and it turns on for a while then turn off. Now i can turn it back on but it wont work normally. And the output from 3.3v pin is close to zero. What should i do? Anyone had the same problem?
That chip is not a voltage regulator, it is a USB to Serial converter chip.
But a new one and don't do it again.

Does the arduino still work ok? Can you upload a sketch and it runs? If so, don't worry about it. Most projects don't use the 3.3V pin at all. If you want to build a project that does need the 3.3V, you can add an external 3.3V regulator.
Yes it does work when i upload blink sketch to it. But it doesnt work for a code that i work on
If the blink sketch works, any other sketch will also work. There is only a problem if the circuit you are working on needs 3.3V for some reason.
