I want to build a Lipo Battery Charger

Dear Forum Mates And Friends

good day to you all.

i bought a battery from eBay with the following Specifications:

Type: LiPo
Capacity: 2200mAh
Voltage: 14.8V
Connector Type: Dean-Style Connector
Wire Gauge: 12 AWG
Charging Connector: JST-XH
Weight: 7.6 oz
Configuration: 4S
Length: 4.56 in (114mm)
Width: 1.32 in (33.0mm)
Height: 1.12in (28 mm)
Maximum Continuous Discharge : 20C
Burst discharge Rate : 30C

i attached the picture of the battery please take a look at it.

and i would like to build a battery charger with Arduino, where the Arduino chip could control and monitor the current of charging and keeps watching the voltage of the battery to give it a healthy charging and when its full 100% it cuts of the charging and beep.

the reason i want to do this, is that i would like to build a flight controller circuit that works as a flight controller when flying. and the same chip will work as a charger for the battery when i connect it to DC power plug. to avoid removing the battery and to avoid changing of center of gravity line on the plane.

therefor i am looking for any circuitry and any suggestions on building the project. i have built the flight controller program and connected it to my plane its working 100% its just i want to add a charging circuitry. please friends share your schematics and your codes plz

thank you all.

is my request ?! a big ignore ?

I would recommend one to buy a ready made unit that has all the built in safety circuitry.

do you have any suggestion a chip name or a module name, i don't want it to be an external module i want it to be in the plain it self.

plz share your knowledge.

You won't find a simple charge circuit for multi-cell LiPo batteries if you intend to perform cell balancing, and if you don't do cell balancing then you'll need to lower your charge rate. All in all you'd be much better off just to bring the leads of the battery out to the side of the plane so you can connect an off-the-shelf charger to it without removing it.

You are flirting with disaster making a home-made LI-PO charger. Those cells/batteries need to be charged the correct way - period - or else they get angry and start spewing large flames, destroying anything near them.

Even people who use "correct" commercial chargers put their LI-PO packs into a fireproof bag or metal bowl or something else "just in case".

You want "our knowledge"? Well here it is: Don't even think about making a home made LI-PO charger.
