REAL AI runs on huge powerful servers "in the cloud". There are probably ways for your robot to tap-into that computing power and database but I don't know anything about it.
Too many believe a robot must be a talking, walking super computer, when it also can be guided by external control like strings of a puppet. You must make the decision what you want your robot to do (Move a box? Select a color? Move a distance?) Be sure that you can make your robotbwith the materials you have. Cardboard, string, adhesive, fabric, plastic? Use your resources and imagination. Draw a picture, make your picture come to life. Have fun!
