I'm looking to build my own "super Arduino", where to start?

I want to create my own Arduino for ai and robotics task with a faster CPU and actual RAM and built in sd, kinda like a raspberry pi but on Arduino platform. but I cant find any files anywhere to get started. also, what is the best application/website to use for such a project? any help would be extremely appreciated, thanks! the idea is a complex ai chatbot and companion, but with a physical body, and animitromic

What is that processor supposed to do?

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, like what is the device used for or am I going overkill? the cpu needs to handle multiple ai models and a lot of servos and background calculations, plus other things, s I was thinking I'd need something beefy

I would take a look at the Teensy 4.1.

There is code to download called Teensyduino for working the in Arduino environment.

thank you, I will look into that board

it has the speed, but I don't think it can run an ai loccally, but thank you for the suggestion

That seems like something worth figuring out!

Kinda like a car but with no motor and only three wheels.

Kinda like steak but made out of paper.

Do you mean a 16 bit processor with paged memory? Do you know how to handle paged ram memory?

  • What are your Arduino/electronic skill sets?

What do you imagine this ai engine to be? A Nano can run a Chess engine. What more do you imagine?

a complex ai chatbot that also controls a physical body, like servos and screens

I'm good at wiring, understanding and writing code, and I know how ai works and I can effectively train ais

I'm not sure, I just know that to run an ai you need a lot of ram, and I know that there's no way a normal Arduino has enough ram for even a basic chatbot let alone an animatromic chatbot/compainion

yea lol, it sounds impossible but thats just my thing, making things happen whether its feasible or not

How do they work?

So... you know what?

so your basically saying I have to face my fears and learn python so I can use a raspberry pi, I kinda thought this would happen, thank you for the advice and also that's a very cool project, one last question, what's the best thing to use to learn python?

That is a good way to look at it. What else would challenge you?

well, I've used AIs and even trained them, but I've never built one or have any clue how to start building one...

and how do I get an ai to understand its physical self? like how to get it to understand what servos do what and when to do that action

Did you ask AI ?
