Interrupts no working at all

I have this very simple pice of code

void LopInt (void){
    digitalWrite(15, HIGH);
    while(1);
}

void setup() {
    pinMode(15, OUTPUT);
    digitalWrite(15, LOW);
    pinMode(52, INPUT_PULLDOWN);
    attachInterrupt(digitalPinToInterrupt(52), LopInt, RISING);
}

void loop() {
    digitalWrite(15, LOW);
}

its only purpose was to test the interrupt pins, now the led is always off, and never high, and ig i hold the button and then pres restart button, then it turns on and nver off (as intended), the wire was checked with the official saleae logic analyzer for potencial line noise (no noise), and using

digitalWrite(15, digitalRead(52));

works 100% of the time.

Now i hvae for the sake of just trying uploaded the code to M7 first, when that failed i tried the M4 core also, noting worked. (this test was done inside a packed robot where dissasembly is not an option). Does anyone know if i did someting wrong or what oter possibilities. because all was checked with the pdf to see if its supported ( pins have int capabilities ) and no PWM or other stuff that could be the issue was used. i cant use the debug mode for some reason, so i cant realy egt to the core of the issue.

Hi @arduuser2251 , on the GIGA, HIGH is Off and LOW is On.

correction, that's just for the LED builtin pin, just spotted you're not using that. Let me take another look.
