Is HC-06 a Bluetooth LE Device?

Hi All

I Tried to connect to HC-06 through android Bluetooth LE, But I failed at the begining.... I can not find HC-06 when I try to scan ...

So I am wondering if HC-06 is a normal bluetooth instead of Bluetooth LE, and they can not connect to each other?

Am I wrong?
Can anyone give me a explaination about this?

Hello and welcome,

Try with BlueTerm or SENA BTerm apps on your Android device. I have no idea if that will work, I don't have a Android device with BLE. It's possible that they are incompatible (BLE is theorically backward compatible but...)

HC-06 is not a BLE device but that shouldn't be the cause of your problem. If the led is flashing, the phone should be able to connect, but will communicate via BT2

Thank you for your answer.
The thing is,
I tried android official bluetooth le sample (http://developer.android.com/intl/zh-cn/samples/BluetoothLeGatt/index.html) without any modification, and it can not scan HC-06 out.
But I can scan it with blueterm
