Hi there! So basically I want to be able to connect my adafruit mini thermal receipt printer to a pushbutton so that when the button is pressed, a receipt prints. I have tested both the printer and pushbutton separately and individually they work but for the life of me I cannot get them to work together. Anyone have any experience with this?

Start by showing us what you have done. Draw a simple schematic as to how you built it. Also post your code.
A button has no data input. It will only make or break a circuit. To print a receipt, you will need to send data to the printer.
Yes. Post uyour code & wiring you have, as well as the 2 test codes for the printer & button you used to test them.
