Is it possible to control servo motor with this? If not, please explain why

What is it?

555 timer ic based pwm generator module

i've been trying to use it for the servo but it doesn't works? and my teacher doesn't allows to use anything else than this. you think its. Do you think its suitable for servo

That would likely depend on the values of the components used as they determine the timing of the pulses. You need a way of determining the PWM frequency etc.

Have you read the Wikipedia article that explains how they work:

Here's a couple of points from that article:

With many RC servos, as long as the refresh rate (how many times per second the pulse is sent, a.k.a. the pulse repetition rate) is in a range of 40 Hz to 200 Hz, the exact value of the refresh rate is irrelevant.

And:

For example, in many RC servos a 1.5 ms pulse will make the motor turn to the 90° position (neutral position).

Yes it does work.

Have you got any data or circuit diagram of that LM555 board?

Performance:

1. Input Voltage: 5V-15VDC**. when power supply is 5V , the output current can be 15MA around;when 12V power supply, the output current can 35MA around;**

**2.**Input current: >=100MA;

3.Output amplitude: 4.2V V-PP to 11.4V V-PP. (Different input voltage, the output amplitude will be different)

4.Maximum output current: >=15MA(5V power supply, V-PP greater than 50%),>=35MA(12V power supply, V-PP greater than 50%)
4.Output with LED indication(low level ,LED will on; high level,LED will off;low frequency, the LED flashes);

5.The output requency range is selectable:

LF file: 1Hz ~ 50Hz IF file: 50Hz ~ 1kHz

High-frequency file: 1KHz ~ 10kHz

HF file: 10kHz ~ 200kHz

Does you teacher understand that this has to be setup frequency and duty cycle to work for a servo?

What level of school are you in?
What subject is this for?

@mactonight
Connect like this:

Put jumper on 1-27Hz position
Turn frequency pot all the way clockwise (CW)
Turn the duty cycle pot to move the servo
