Hello everybody.
Looking to use itead 5.0 and 3.5 nextion display with Mega.
What is my solution to overcome 2-5m distance btw those devices? We talking serial communication on UART ports. Everything mounted in a car.( I know, Loads of noice environment)

Is the RS485 designed to work within a metal can? (I haven't read the datasheet yet)

Bummer. Rs485 require data enable pin. That nextion only comes with 5v and,txt,txt. Got to register with ideas forum and ask a question.
Max488 maybe? Looks like does not need the digital pin like max485 but instead need 2 twisted pairs in between.
