Joystick and Arduino

I'd like to read the values of X/Y/Z from a joystick by intercept only.
Some how place the Arduino between the stick and the PC (watching and reading the data from the stick to the PC).
I have a USB host, but then I'd have to emulate the joysticks data to the PC.

Hoping you guys may have an idea how to get this done.

Hope that's not as clear as mud

Try Googling HID USB Arduino and see if that might work for you.

No it's not clear as mud.

A three dimensional joystick is new to me. Any datasheet for that device?

Do You have it clear with the Pc code/application?

We need details on the joystick. Make and model? Datasheet? Manuals?

Logitech G Extreme 3D Pro USB Joystick for Windows: This is the joystick I'll be testing with.

Playing a flight sim, I'd like to pick up the joystick movement and translate it to servos. I made a JPEG, bat I can't post the pic up here

It's apparently a variation on what one considers as x,y,z.
X and Y same same but so called Z is a rotary motion (twist of the wrist)...... anyones guess what the output /pc interface would be.

Of course. How many helpers are familiar with it? Any users/operators manual, datasheet?

Some members want to be drowning in helpers guesses...
