LCD I2C showing random letters that i didn't tell it to write

well i guess there is no way to create arabic fonts with lcds only with OLEDs

There are types of LCD screen other than the one that you have

I am with you. I do not understand why no chip set for Arabic, Chinese, Amaharic, Hebrew, or just a "256 custom character chip set" and no more ASCII... Maybe this is your calling?

wait can i actually directly tell the creator of the library(arduino) something to change something about it?i know it is a dumb question

The LCDs have chipsets of characters. The library lets you tell the display which character to place, and where.

Nokia 5110 LCD (telephone screen) has an arabic font...

If the hardware does not support the use of external user defined fonts then the author of the library cannot do anything about it

ohhh so the font is built into the chip, well atleast they gotta increase the custom charachters you can make because it was actually really fun creating my own letters from scratch

Who are "they" ?
It cannot be done by a library

i mean the library creators(Arduino),so the library can't even control how much custom letters you can make

It is impossible for a library to change the hardware of the LCD display and this includes the number of different user defined characters that can be defined

ok well thanks for the help guys

wait i have an idea, isn't there a way to delete the english letters completly so i can have space for arabic letters?

No. Sorry.

See the diagram above

The standard font is held in Read Only Memory and cannot be changed once it has been manufactured

It would be possible for a manufacturer to produce an LCD display with a different font in ROM but good luck finding one, although it might be possible where you are located due to the local language.

Have you got a local shop that sells electronic components ?

no problem,i mean it's really just one in my family who doesn't understands english

no waaay i'm gonna find one in my city,my city doesn't even have an arduino parts supplier i get all my parts from other citys online

Same with me. I have to order every small part online and receive through the post.

yeah like if 1 part is broken i have to do an whole order with other parts that i probebly don't need just to not pay delivery on 1 part

How about a supplier in Egypt even if they are not local enough to visit ?
