Hello, I am developing a control panel for my motorhome and I am using Arduino Mega 2560 R3 with a Kuman ili9486 LCD display. 3.5inch Arduino Display-UNO - LCD wiki
Is there a command to put the LCD in standby mode or even turn it off/on when i need it?
The average consumption is 220mA.
I appreciate any help, thank you.

Make sure that your pcb really does match the photos in your link #0 and R1 is 2R0 resistor.
Remove R1 and connect to 3.3V Regulator with an external 2R0 via a MOSFET
Or connect to 5.0V with an external 20R via a MOSFET
These displays are NOT intended to switch the backlight.
you can make the hardware mod by soldering MOSFET and resistor to the pcb and use A5 pin to control the mosfet transistor.
attach with glue.
