LCD Screen displaying random char

Hello everyone!

I'm using a 1602A 16 pin LCD screen and the helloworld program in the arduino examples for the liquid Crystal library. Ive wired it just like it says to in the comments of the program. I double, triple, checked. checked again. wiring is correct. If someone has some insight that would be awesome.

Your photos aren't quite in focus and there is a lot of parallax since the camera was too close to the display.

It does, however, look as if you may have 'cold' solder joints. This link should give you some help in fixing up your soldering job.
