libellium modul work only with Kingston microSD 2gb SDC

Hello everybody,

I use the libellium shields
http://www.cooking-hacks.com/index.php/shop/arduino/shields/microsd-2gb-module-for-arduino.html
to write gps data, i have some microSD card , but only one type work, the Kingston 2Gb SDC ... and i don't why ...

work with ...

but not with

any idea ???

best regards

The Libelium MicroSD module uses resistors for level shifters and many SD cards won't work with it.

The problem is that resistor level shifters do not provide fast enough rise times for the SPI signals and cards that use edge detectors often fail with this module.

thx you ... do you have solution ?
because i see some sdcard with 4,7k resistor, sometimes with 10k ... and i dont know what is the best way.

best regards

Throw the Libellium module in the trash and buy one of these products:

There are many other products but make sure what you buy has IC level shifters, not resistors.

yeah, thx u for your advise,

i'll plan to build a new one with 4050

tchuss
