Hi everyone,
I want to move a 12v dc motor forward and backward using two limit switches(one for forward and one for backward) at the same time it should also controlled using DPDT switch. I designed a conventional circuit it moved the motor forward and backward when the limit switch is pressed but once the DPDT switch is pressed the power goes off.
Easier to read this way round
Hi,
Do you want your circuit to just stop the motor at the end of its travel?
OR
To automatically reverse the motor so it moves back and forth?
Tom...
When you say "limit switch" do you mean a switch that is activated automatically when the motor runs to one or other of its end positions or do you mean something else ?
I want to control the motor forward and reverse by both limit switch and DPDT switch without any use of microcontroller.
hope you have a great day.
normally when the limit switch is pressed the motor runs until the switch is released
That does not sound like a limit switch to me
Hi,
To have your motor going fwd and stop on a limit swtich then be able to change the reverse switch to make the motor go in rev until it hits the other limit switch, stop and allowed to go forward, need you to use power diodes across the limit switch contacts.
Google;
for rev limit switch circuit
