Lipo Battery

Hi Forum

I'd like to know if one can charge a lipo battery at the same time while having a load on it.
I'd like to use a lipo battery to keep my weather station on when every time the electricity goes off, in the same way a UPS would sustain a computer when the electricity went off.

Sure. Use a charge control chip like MAX1811.
Easy to use, just needs a couple components.
I charge mine from 5V, and run a 8 MHz promini with it. 16 MHz would work also, might see some flaky operation when battery gets down to 3.7V.
