Lolin D32 unconnected Ground pin

I returned my first Wemos Lolin D32 v1.0.0 because one of the GND pins was not connected to the ground plane.
Ordered a second board from a different seller and it has the same exact problem, the GND pin on the bottom (the one with the arrows) is not connected to the ground plane right next to it, and I'm sure that the large traces with the arrows (on both sides of the board) are indeed the ground plane as that is where pin 1 of the CH340G is connected to and my multimeter measures <0.19Ω between pin 1 of the CH340G and the working GND pin. The circular pad around the large hole is also unconnected.
Should I scratch the mask and bridge it to the unconnected GND pin?

Thanks for letting us know, you probably un be knownst to you solved problems for many.

These are probably from a faulty batch from Wemos themselves, that's why other sellers are able to sell these at less than half the price (and much cheaper shipping) of the genuine D32 on the official Wemos store on aliexpress.
I'm just guessing..
